We are highly motivated to contribute to keeping handmade craftsmanship alive in our Western homes because we lament the gradual displacement of passionate craftsmanship by machine mass production in our Western culture over the years. Foundation story

To understand the reason behind our choice of the name Riadland, let's begin by delving into what a riad represents. A riad is a Moroccan residence or palace graced with a splendid internal garden. The term "riad" derives its roots from the Arabic word for garden, most riads in Morocco have at least two floors and feature gardens designed in the Andalusian style,  often adorned with a central fountain or pool. These distinctive abodes trace their origins back to the 9th or 10th century and were originally owned by the city's most affluent residents...
